Just got back from a 2 night, 1st experience camping trip with 2 kiddywinks!! What can i say other than it is brilliant here! Immacuately clean, local pub, great area for cycling or walking and close to anything you could possibly want but for us above all was it felt so safe. Made to feel very welcome by Phil and Russ and cant wait to come back. Back in 2010 for sure

Just arrived back after the August Bank Holiday Weekend (2/9/09). The stay was fantastic. This was our first stay at the site and we were obviously quite apprehensive about what to expect. The site was excellent, staff were very friendly & polite a must for a campsite!!!. The site was full over the holiday weekend with children & adults enjoying themselves. Toilets and showers were kept clean.
Chris enjoyed the fishing lake especially when he caught a nice fair sized carp (made his day). We would strongly recommend this campsite and will be visiting again. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable.

have to say, had never being camping before, found this great camping site for me and my family..(what a great choice!!!). the facilities were ideal, and the potwashers were very handy.. all in a great location, very peaceful and well organized, very family orientated, and evenings were quite so able to chill and relax. Well recommended to all. stayed on this campsite 28th-30th august, brilliant weather too!! will be back next month.

Had our two week family holiday on a caravan rally here 25 july to 5 August.
It was a lovely relaxing time. Facilities are basic but were all that was needed. Fishing great - not many but nice weights.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
If we visit this part of the country again we would definitely come back here.

We have just stayed here for the second time, we absolutely love this campsite. We have even made another booking for next weekend :)Took my 3 year old daughter for the first time and she did not want to go home. She loved the play area. The owners are very friendly and helpful and i would definately recommend this campsite.

Stayed with my son last night. We had a great time (with no rain thank goodness). The facilities were clean and plentiful. Alex swam with some new mates in the lake and had an old fashioned mud fight! Beats the computer and Disney Channel any day. Cost only £7.50 and lots of room. Love the cow theme!

Had a nice weekend here, we stayed in the lower field by the lake. It was less crowded than the top field. Guessing people prefer to be near the toilets/showers. One draw back, unless you get up very early (before 7.30)all the hot water has been used. Although to be fair it did seem to be an exceptionally busy weekend (school holidays),
Helpful, friendly staff and good location.

Discovered Blacklands 3 years ago now and we visit every year at least 2 or 3 times. It is a terrific base to access the South Downs and Brighton from.
Facilities are basic yes, but the guys work to improve the site year on year and they are doing a great job.
Top field near Carp Lake is a joy and we hope it becomes open again all year round.
Great little site and for the cost, cannot be beaten.
See you again next week!

Enjoyed the stay during a glorious May bank holiday weekend, beautiful countryside, good base for visits to Brighton and Worthing. Little expensive for very basic facilities though.

Visited this Easter and loved the peace and quiet. Field got a little muddy but if the service road round outside of field was used, it wouldn't be such a problem. Basic but clean facilities, as reflected in the charges. Will be back later in the season.
